About

The Full Story

I’ve spent most of my adult life on the road.

For years, my career in the hotel and travel industry took me everywhere, into boardrooms, through more airports than I care to count, and to destinations most people only see in magazines. I sat in meetings with CEOs where billion-dollar ideas were discussed as casually as ordering coffee. It was fast-paced, demanding, and often exhilarating.

From the outside, it looked like one of the coolest jobs on the planet.

And in many ways, it was.

It was also far more complicated than it appeared. Along the way, there were breathtaking sunrises, unforgettable experiences, a few romances, and moments so unbelievable that when I later shared them, friends would pause and say, Wait… that actually happened?

It did.

I built a life that didn’t quite fit anyone else’s expectations, despite well-meaning efforts from family and childhood friends to steer me toward something safer or more traditional. I kept moving until my body finally made it clear that it was time to stop outrunning the past and start paying attention.

That pause changed everything.

Healing became less about pushing through and more about listening. Therapy. Meditation. Movement. Journaling. Boundaries. Time in nature. Some paths worked better than others, but each step brought me closer to myself.

Somewhere along the way, I rediscovered something I’d loved long before titles, deadlines, and boarding passes entered the picture.

I love to write.

I’ve been writing since I was a child, long before I understood why it mattered so much. After years of keeping it quietly in the background of a very full life, I finally decided to bring it forward, turning stories inspired by what I’d lived into works of fiction.

Why now? Partly because I love storytelling. And partly because if someone can escape into a book, recognize themselves in a character, or feel inspired to take one small step toward changing their own life, then the story is worth telling.

My books are inspired by experiences from my life, including years spent as a road warrior in the hotel world, but they are fiction. Names, details, and storylines are changed to protect privacy and let the emotional truth lead.

I continue to write stories that reflect pieces of my journey, the travel, the industry, the healing, the fun moments, and the quiet courage it takes to choose something different.

Because change does happen.

It just begins with one step forward.
